Welcome to my blog!
In the landscape of human experience, relationships provide meaning and purpose. They also challenge us, reveal our vulnerabilities, and provide opportunities for personal growth. Yet, for many, the realms of intimacy and sexuality remain uncharted territories—shrouded in shame, silence, fear and taboo.
I’m going to write about all of that. My intention in doing so is threefold:
Relationships as Teachers: I believe that we learn about ourselves through relationships with others. We have the most to learn from our most intimate relationships. Sex is not simply a physical act, but a powerful lens through which we can understand our desires, fears, patterns, and potential. By bringing awareness to this aspect of our lives, we can transform shame into understanding, and silence into connection.
Relationships as a Learned Skillset: Fulfilling relationships and great sex don't happen by accident. They are built on a foundation of skills—communication, empathy, vulnerability, and self-awareness—that can be learned, practiced, and mastered. My work is dedicated to providing practical insights, perspectives, and tools that empower individuals and couples to cultivate more meaningful, satisfying connections.
Bridging the Wellness Gap: Sexual health is integral to overall well-being, yet it remains one of the most underserved aspects of health and wellness. Most healthcare providers, including mental health providers, receive minimal training in sexuality, leaving individuals without critical resources and support. My goal is to help fill this gap, offering professional, compassionate guidance to my community in Palmer, Alaska.
Welcome!
